From his early days as a song-writing shepherd on the anks of the Nile to putting out hundreds of songs since the 1990s, Elmosley has become an unavoidable name in Sudanese music. Yousif sings, composes, plays ercussion and oud, but is perhaps mainly known for his productions: between Khartoum and his exile years in Cairo, Elmosley has worked with dozens of top udanese artists. It is a rare treat to hear his music reach out even further, through the remix work of heavyweight Berlin house producer and DJ Edward.
